On the October 9th episode of MBN's 'Special World', Han Seo-kyung shared insights into her current life and the tumultuous journey she has experienced.

During the broadcast, Han Seo-kyung shared that she continues to perform on stage and spends her days in the recording studio with her husband, capturing viewers' attention.

However, despite her bright demeanor, her life has not been without significant challenges.

Reflecting on her peak years, Han recalled, “My album sold a million copies, and my songs were played everywhere.” She even won the Rookie of the Year award in 1992 alongside Seo Taiji and Boys.

But unexpected events soon followed, causing her life to take a drastic turn.

Particularly, the failure of her shaved ice business and falling victim to fraud dealt a severe financial blow. She confessed, “I wanted to collapse. I really did collapse.”

Adding to her woes, her family faced hardships. Her father passed away in an accident, and her mother suffered from severe depression for a year, eventually showing signs of dementia. Han Seo-kyung recalled, “I thought I had hit rock bottom, but it felt like I was 200 meters underground,” describing her struggles as a tsunami of challenges.

Even now, her situation remains difficult. She shared, “I am still paying off debts,” conveying the weight of her circumstances.
Ultimately, Han Seo-kyung revealed her most challenging moment.

She admitted, “I lost my Gangnam apartment due to fraud. I lost everything and was in the red every month,” adding, “Even when meeting friends, I constantly thought, 'Can I borrow money?' I even wanted to work as a housekeeper.”

She further expressed, “Life is not easy,” and added, “I am still struggling with financial difficulties,” evoking sympathy.
