Former baseball player Lee Dae-ho, known for his impressive career earnings of 42.9 billion won, has taken on the role of coach for the Busan Little Giants team in the new KBS 2TV sports reality show 'Our Neighborhood Baseball Captain'.

KBS, renowned for its sports entertainment shows like 'Fly Shoot Dori' and 'The Joy of Wrestling', is set to unveil 'Our Neighborhood Baseball Captain', capturing the sweat and dreams of young baseball talents. Here are the key points to look forward to in the show.

Just as the music industry has Kim Bum-soo, Naul, Park Hyo-shin, and Lee Soo, the baseball world boasts legends like Kim Tae-kyun, Na Ji-wan, Park Yong-taek, and Lee Dae-ho. These four KBO legends are stepping into coaching roles for the first time to nurture young baseball hopefuls.

Kim Tae-kyun leads the 'Little Eagles' in Chungcheong, Na Ji-wan heads the 'Little Tigers' in Gwangju, Park Yong-taek guides the 'Little Twins' in Seoul, and Lee Dae-ho coaches the 'Little Giants' in Busan. The rookie coaches have expressed their nervousness, with Park Yong-taek stating his ambition to earn the nickname 'Winning Taek' by clinching victory in 'Our Neighborhood Baseball Captain'. The dynamic expressions and strategic battles of these four coaches will be a highlight of the show.

The show features a lineup of promising young talents who are worth watching for the future of baseball. Among them are unanimously chosen 'Little Giant' Kim Jun-seok, left fielder Choi Jin-ho who promises an upgrade, charismatic captain Lee Hyo-jun, and top pitcher candidate Yoo Hyo-jun, along with 12 elite players per team.

These 48 U-10 youth players are set to deliver high-level performances that will keep viewers on the edge of their seats. Notably, 'Little Tigers' leadoff hitter Lee Seung-won hit a home run in the opening game, injecting early excitement into the match. The growth of these next-generation baseball prospects, following in the footsteps of Lee Jung-hoo and Kim Do-young, is highly anticipated.

The four coaches, who have already drawn attention with their competitive spirit, will now engage in a league competition in 'Our Neighborhood Baseball Captain'. With their unique strategies, the question remains which youth team will claim the title of the inaugural 'Baseball Captain'.

The commentary lineup is also drawing attention. Actor Kim Seung-woo, currently the president of the Korea Little Baseball Federation (KLBF), former 'Stolen Base King' and renowned commentator Lee Dae-hyung, and KBS N's leading sports announcer Lee Dong-geun, known for his stable commentary at the recent '2026 World Baseball Classic (WBC)', will provide game coverage.

'Our Neighborhood Baseball Captain' premieres on the 12th at 9:20 PM.
