Choo Sung-hoon Embarks on a New Adventure with 'The Manly Way to Travel'

Choo Sung-hoon, the renowned broadcaster, is set to embark on an overseas adventure in the upcoming show 'The Manly Way to Travel'. Despite his recent appearances on various entertainment programs, Choo has faced a slump in viewership ratings.

Airing on October 21st, SBS Plus's 'The Manly Way to Travel' promises an adrenaline-fueled journey with Korea's iconic 'manly men' Choo Sung-hoon, Kim Jong-kook, and the younger 'middle man' Daesung. The trio is expected to deliver a bromance-filled travel experience that follows their instincts.

The chemistry among the cast members is drawing significant attention. Kim Jong-kook's appearances on Choo Sung-hoon's YouTube channel have amassed a combined 30 million views, with their collaborative clips and shorts consistently hitting the mark. Additionally, a video of Kim Jong-kook and Daesung doing Pilates has reached 2 million views, while a scene from Netflix's 'Churai Churai' featuring Daesung receiving a low kick from Choo has surpassed 1.2 million views, further heightening anticipation for their proven camaraderie.

The backstory of Choo Sung-hoon and Kim Jong-kook joining the show out of loyalty to director Kim Jin-ho is also capturing interest. Choo, who collaborated with Kim Jin-ho on 'Law of the Jungle' four times, accepted the offer without hesitation despite his busy schedule with YouTube and other shows. Kim Jong-kook, remembering a promise made 18 years ago when Kim Jin-ho was a junior PD on 'Family Outing', decided to join 'The Manly Way to Travel', surprising many.
