Eun-ae's Dilemma Deepens as She Faces Legal Challenges in 'Happy Our Good Day'

In the 8th episode of KBS 1TV's daily drama 'Happy Our Good Day' (directed by Lee Jae-sang, written by Nam Sun-hye, produced by Monster Union, Saeon Media, and Contents G), which aired on the 8th, Jo Eun-ae (Um Hyun-kyung) finally meets the elusive Director Go Min-ho (Jung Yoon) with the help of Go Gyeol (Yoon Jong-hoon). However, instead of reclaiming her company 'Lucky Joy Tech', she faces legal challenges from Kangsu Construction.

In the previous episode, Go Gyeol revealed to Jo Eun-ae, who persistently pursued him under the misconception that he was the Director of Strategic Planning at Kangsu Construction, that he is actually the Team Leader of the Strategic Planning Department. He advised her to prepare properly for legal action if she felt wronged and arranged a meeting with the real Director, Go Min-ho (Jung Yoon).

Jo Eun-ae, confronting Go Min-ho, claimed the contract was invalid but soon found herself cornered. Go Min-ho asserted that the AI friend 'Joy' was legally acquired by Kangsu Construction and accused Eun-ae of vandalizing his office. Consequently, Eun-ae received a legal notice for obstruction of business, trespassing, and property damage. Viewers are intrigued to see how Eun-ae will navigate this predicament.

Meanwhile, Eun-ae's father, Jo Sung-joon (Sunwoo Jae-duk), reunites with his high school friend Go Dae-chi (Yoon Da-hoon), whom he had an awkward encounter with earlier. Sung-joon feels uncomfortable with Dae-chi's excessive kindness, but Dae-chi insists on inviting another high school friend, Seo Kwon-sik (Jung Ho-bin). The cold atmosphere among the three hints at a mysterious past, piquing curiosity.

Elsewhere, Kang Yeon-ja (Kim Hye-ok) feels hurt when her daughter-in-law Cheon Ji-seon (Kim Soo-ah) asks her to refrain from visiting while she is cleaning her son Jo Eun-hyung's (Choi Sung-won) house. At the same time, Eun-hyung faces disappointment as he fails to secure a professorship due to the closure of the philosophy department. The fractures within the family and Eun-hyung's setbacks draw attention to how these challenges will impact the Jo family.

Towards the end of the episode, Eun-ae witnesses Go Gyeol's grandmother, Lee Young-hwa (Jung Young-sook), suddenly collapsing while sitting on a swing, marking a dramatic conclusion to the episode.
