Set to premiere on October 10th, MBC's new weekend drama '21st Century Grand Duchess' is set in a 21st-century constitutional monarchy in South Korea. It tells the story of a woman who has everything as a chaebol but is frustrated by her commoner status, and a prince who is sad because he cannot have anything, as they embark on a romance to defy their fates and break social status barriers.

Singer and actress IU (playing Seong Hee-joo) and actor Byeon Woo-seok (playing Lee An-daegun) are set to portray a couple destined to be together, showcasing their perfect chemistry. Their professional moments have been captured, hinting at their on-screen magic.
