In the latest episode of tvN's weekend drama 'How to Become a Building Owner in Korea' (hereafter 'Building Owner'), aired on the 5th, Jeon Yi-kyung (played by Jung Soo-jung) begins her path of revenge after being betrayed by those she trusted and loved.

The episode kicks off with the night of real estate agent Jang Hee-joo's (played by Ryu Abel) death. Ki Soo-jong (played by Ha Jung-woo), heavily intoxicated, confesses to Jang Hee-joo that his wife Kim Sun (played by Im Soo-jung) had an affair, yet he still loves her, causing him distress. Jang Hee-joo records this conversation and sends it to Min Hwal-seong (played by Kim Jun-han), who then edits it to make Kim Sun misunderstand the situation.

Kim Sun, seeking the truth, heads to the real estate office and discovers Ki Soo-jong with Jang Hee-joo's dead body. Ki Soo-jong claims innocence, accusing Min Hwal-seong of trying to break their marriage to take over the Seyoon Building. He speculates that Min Hwal-seong killed Jang Hee-joo over redevelopment shares. Knowing her husband's tendency to fall asleep when drunk, Kim Sun decides to trust him.

The couple reluctantly decides to hide Jang Hee-joo's body until they can prove Ki Soo-jong's innocence. Kim Sun disguises herself in Jang Hee-joo's clothes and uses areas with and without CCTV coverage to move the body. The couple's descent into crime is portrayed as both dangerous and precarious.

Ki Soo-jong later confronts Min Hwal-seong to uncover the truth about the previous night. However, Min Hwal-seong seems unaware of Jang Hee-joo's death. As the truth behind the death remains elusive, Min Hwal-seong boasts about seizing Jeon Yi-kyung's assets, prompting Ki Soo-jong to reveal, "You're going to be a dad," shocking Min Hwal-seong with the news of Jeon Yi-kyung's pregnancy.

Meanwhile, feeling betrayed by Min Hwal-seong and Kim Sun, Jeon Yi-kyung coldly declares her intent for revenge, saying, "Just like what happened to me." Ki Da-rae (played by Park Seo-kyung), aware of the crimes committed by Kim Sun and Ki Soo-jong, wishes to apologize to Jeon Yi-kyung and arranges a meeting. Jeon Yi-kyung offers Ki Da-rae a final proposal to abandon her parents and join her family. However, Ki Da-rae chooses her parents, leading Jeon Yi-kyung to kidnap her.

Jeon Yi-kyung takes Ki Da-rae to the basement freezer of the Seyoon Building, where she was once held captive. Her chilling words, "Da-rae, you've worked hard," conclude the episode, leaving viewers on edge with the dark turn of events as Jeon Yi-kyung seeks vengeance after being betrayed.
