Comedian couple Kim Jun-ho and Kim Ji-min, who tied the knot last year, have shared exciting news as they embark on their journey to parenthood.

On the October 5th episode of SBS's variety show 'My Little Old Boy,' the couple revealed their plans to undergo in vitro fertilization (IVF).

Kim Jun-ho opened up by saying, "Tomorrow is our first attempt at IVF." He explained, "I had a comprehensive check-up, and it showed that my sperm has some buffering issues. So, we decided to seek medical assistance to select the strongest and smartest ones. After the IVF procedure tomorrow, we'll have a genetic test in two weeks." Kim Ji-min added humorously, "The HSG test is insanely painful, but thankfully, the pain only lasts about five seconds."

The following day, the couple visited the hospital. Kim Ji-min shared the challenges of the IVF process, saying, "My pants don't fit. This isn't my belly. I have no clothes that fit. Even when the stylist brings clothes, I have to leave a few buttons open or unzip the back for filming. It's been like this since the preparation stage."

As the IVF procedure approached, Kim Ji-min showed signs of nervousness. Before undergoing anesthesia, she expressed her anxiety, "It's painful because they insert a needle into the ovaries." As she went in for egg retrieval, Kim Jun-ho cheered her on with a "Fighting!"

After the egg retrieval, Kim Ji-min emerged, saying, "I woke up faster than I expected," with a smile. When Kim Jun-ho asked if she was scared, she replied, "I wasn't scared, and more eggs were retrieved than I thought. I'm the egg queen. I think the results will be good."

Kim Ji-min also added, "Do you know I have a good intuition? I'm told that not many people feel this little pain after egg retrieval. I think I'm naturally inclined to get pregnant. It will definitely happen."
