The TVING original series 'Yumi's Cells Season 3' is set to reignite viewers' romantic cells once again.

Premiering on the 13th, 'Yumi's Cells Season 3' follows Yumi (played by Kim Go-eun), now a star writer, as she navigates an unexpected encounter with a new character, Soonrok (played by Kim Jae-won), who disrupts her uneventful life. Despite her success, Yumi finds love challenging, and her 'hate-love' relationship with the candid PD Soonrok promises to stir viewers' romantic emotions. With Kim Go-eun reprising her role as Yumi and the addition of rising star Kim Jae-won, along with the trusted direction of Lee Sang-yeob and the reunion of writers Song Jae-jung and Kim Kyung-ran, expectations are high.

Director Lee Sang-yeob describes Soonrok's entrance as a 'stone thrown into Yumi's seemingly perfect life,' promising an engaging watch as Soonrok shakes up Yumi's routine and they grow closer. He hints at a different kind of relationship for Yumi, one that brings both excitement and anger, and encourages viewers to watch how Yumi grows through this new experience.

The key theme for Season 3 is 'hate-love romance.' Soonrok, who often provokes Yumi's anger, and Yumi, who energizes the homebody Soonrok, are set to bring excitement with their evolving relationship. Director Lee notes, "Yumi grows the most when she's in love," urging viewers to follow Yumi's journey as she takes steps forward in life. Writer Song Jae-jung adds, "A new change comes to Yumi, who seems to have it all as a successful writer," and highlights the impact of Soonrok, a younger man with clear standards, on Yumi's life.

Yumi's transformation and growth as a successful writer are expected to resonate with audiences. Writer Kim Kyung-ran explains, "As Yumi achieves success as a writer, the influence of her writer cell grows, leading to a decline in other cells in her cell village." She adds that Soonrok's appearance brings change to Yumi's cell village, marking the start of their relationship. Kim notes, "While Seasons 1 and 2 were about Yumi finding herself through love, this season explores Yumi rediscovering herself when faced with new challenges."

Director Lee emphasizes, "Yumi's new romance begins," and despite being a successful romance writer, Yumi finds love still challenging yet exciting and delightful. He asks viewers to support Yumi's journey to becoming a wonderful adult. The TVING original 'Yumi's Cells Season 3' will premiere exclusively on TVING with two episodes every Monday at 6 PM, starting on the 13th, and will air on tvN every Monday and Tuesday at 8:50 PM.
