Actor Song Il-gook Shares Heartfelt Update on His Triplets on 'Immortal Songs'
The episode, which aired on the 4th, featured the second part of the '2026 Entertainment King of Kings' special.
Song Il-gook appeared alongside actor Oh Man-seok as part of the musical 'The Hague' team, expressing his nerves by saying, "It's my first time singing on a broadcast."
Song revealed that his triplets, Daehan, Minguk, and Manse, are now in the second year of middle school, sharing, "Having three means triple the puberty challenges. I'm cautious and pray every day."
When fellow participants asked, "Even if their mom works at the court, do they still go through puberty?" Song humorously replied, "They don't go to their judge mom; they come to me." He added, "I'm careful about mentioning them on TV because they don't like it much. But they understand, we have to make a living," sending a video message to his kids, causing laughter.
Song Il-gook and Oh Man-seok, along with their musical 'The Hague' colleagues, won with their performance of Cho Yong-pil's 'Star'. The duo humbly stated, "We are supporting actors. These people are the stars," expressing gratitude to the musical actors who joined them on stage.
Meanwhile, the creative musical 'The Hague', featuring Song Il-gook and Oh Man-seok, commemorates the 120th anniversary of the Hague envoy dispatch, depicting the journey of three envoys, Lee Jun, Lee Sang-seol, and Lee Wi-jong, to The Hague. The musical recently gained attention when BTS's Jimin attended a performance.
