Director Ahn Jong-yeon Expresses Deep Affection for New SBS Drama 'Sold Out Again Today'

Director Ahn Jong-yeon has expressed his deep affection for his latest project and its cast, raising anticipation for the upcoming drama.

Premiering on April 22nd, SBS's new Wednesday-Thursday drama 'Sold Out Again Today' follows the story of perfectionist farmer Matthew Lee (aka Quail) and sell-out show host Dam Ye-jin as they navigate their intertwined lives, delivering a seasonal romance filled with excitement.

Director Ahn describes 'Sold Out Again Today' as a healing drama, stating, "It's about a woman who has been running like a racehorse meeting a man from the countryside, learning to relax, and the man healing his own wounds through their relationship. I hope viewers find comfort in watching our characters' healing journeys."

He highlights the drama's unique charm, emphasizing the importance of portraying the protagonists' wounds with depth and seriousness, while also ensuring the comedic elements are genuinely funny. "I aimed to balance the romantic comedy genre by increasing the comedic aspects, making it more of a comedy romance," he explained.
