Musical Stars Jung Sang-hoon, Shin Sung-rok, and Kim Gun-woo Share Behind-the-Scenes Stories on 'Knowing Bros'

Jung Sang-hoon, Shin Sung-rok, and Kim Gun-woo reveal intriguing episodes.

On the upcoming episode of JTBC's 'Knowing Bros,' airing at 9 PM on the 4th, the stars of the musical 'Swing Days: Codename A'—Jung Sang-hoon, Shin Sung-rok, and Kim Gun-woo—will make an appearance. Known for their acting and singing prowess, they are set to share captivating behind-the-scenes stories from their musical experiences.

Jung Sang-hoon surprises with a confession, saying, "While preparing for the musical 'Mrs. Doubtfire,' I received private lessons from Gummy." He adds humorously, "I asked her for a reference recording, but ended up singing it in her unique R&B style, which got me scolded by music director Kim Moon-jung."

Shin Sung-rok recalls a nerve-wracking moment during a performance of 'Jekyll & Hyde,' where he forgot his lines during a highlight scene and had to roar his way out of the situation. Jung Sang-hoon humorously counters, "That's not getting out of it," pointing out that it was a famous scene where the audience could sing along, yet Shin just shouted, causing laughter.

Kim Gun-woo shares, "During the filming of 'The Glory,' I lost a lot of weight and wore hair extensions to fit the character," and adds, "People didn't talk to me much during filming, but after gaining weight, I've been offered more positive roles." The hosts agree, noting how different he looks with the weight gain.

Additionally, Kim Gun-woo names Kang Ho-dong as the cast member who best suits villain roles, drawing attention. He explains, "I've never seen someone with such a strong aura," and "His energy is so intense, it's almost scary," bringing laughter to the set.
