Nana Shines in 'Climax' with Intense Performance and OST Contribution
'Climax' is a drama that explores the desires and choices of characters within a power cartel vying for the top position in South Korea. Nana plays Hwang Jung-won, a character who secretly provides information while staying close to Bang Tae-seob, played by Ju Ji-hoon, showcasing her intense acting skills.
In episodes 5 and 6, released on the 30th and 31st, the backstory of Hwang Jung-won was further developed, revealing her past of killing her mother's cohabitant and her first encounter with prosecutor Tae-seob, which led to their collaborative relationship. As the story unfolds, Jung-won emerges as a central figure in the plot, especially with the ending hinting at her involvement in Park Jae-sang's death, heightening the drama's tension.
Nana has perfectly embodied the character of Hwang Jung-won with her nuanced acting, seamlessly shifting the atmosphere in each scene. Her portrayal of a character that balances coldness and vulnerability has proven her strong presence, altering the drama's tone with each appearance.
Additionally, Nana contributed to the 'Climax' OST by singing 'Black Star'. 'Climax' airs every Monday and Tuesday at 10 PM on ENA and is also available on KT Genie TV and Disney+.
