Insooni's Daughter Reveals Heartbreaking Accident Leading to Finger Amputation
During the broadcast on the 30th, Insooni, a renowned singer, revealed the tragic accident involving her daughter, a Stanford University graduate.
Insooni's daughter expressed, "I loved living independently at Stanford," adding, "I interned at Microsoft during my junior year and joined the company right after graduation."
"I don't remember anything after the ambulance arrived," she continued. "Before surgery, the anesthesiologist, who was Korean, asked if he could cut my wedding ring, and I agreed. They said there was no blood circulation in my finger. I underwent seven surgeries at a hand surgery clinic but eventually lost my left pinky finger."
Insooni's husband shared, "We could think of it this way: it's fortunate her body wasn't trapped. If she had been lying there unable to speak, we would have been devastated." He added, "I know it's tough. It still pains me every time I see her. Even now, I get choked up thinking about it."
After two months of inactivity following her treatment, her daughter overcame her trauma by wearing her wedding ring again two years later. Insooni expressed her gratitude, saying, "I'm thankful she has bravely overcome her acquired handicap."
Meanwhile, heartwarming stories about Insooni also surfaced. A chorus member shared, "During the pandemic, Insooni gave me a savings account she had accumulated over a year. I pledged to be even more loyal." Another member added, "When I was about to be homeless, she offered me a room," expressing their gratitude.
