Director and Cast of 'Siren' Reveal Their Favorite Scenes and Lines
tvN's Monday-Tuesday drama 'Siren' continues to captivate audiences with its unpredictable plot and stylish direction. As the series progresses, the actors have highlighted scenes that showcase their characters and the unique aspects of the show, increasing anticipation for upcoming episodes.
Park Min-young, who plays Han Seol-ah, also pointed out the ending scene of episode 2, where Han Seol-ah confronts Cha Woo-seok. She highlighted the mysterious yet captivating charm of Han Seol-ah in this scene, saying, "Han Seol-ah approaches Cha Woo-seok, who is briefing about her, and says, 'You talk as if you know everything about me, so let's see if you're right, the next man to fall in love with Han Seol-ah.' It was a challenging line, but I'm proud of how it turned out."
Lastly, Kim Jung-hyun, who plays Baek Jun-beom, a pivotal character in the plot twist of 'Siren,' chose the line from episode 8, "Seol-ah, I'm Baek Jun-beom who can do anything now. I'll give you whatever you want." This moment highlights Baek Jun-beom's obsession and misguided affection for Han Seol-ah, as he decides to live someone else's life. Kim Jung-hyun expressed, "It was a moment where Baek Jun-beom's vanity and obsession, justifying even the choice to abandon himself to win Han Seol-ah, felt pitiful."
With these memorable scenes chosen by director Kim Chul-kyu and the cast, 'Siren' leaves a lasting impression and promises another unexpected turn in the storyline, especially as Han Seol-ah is found next to a bleeding Baek Jun-beom, heightening the anticipation for the next episode.
'Siren' will air its 9th episode on the 30th at 8:50 PM.
