Rael, the daughter of South Korean broadcaster Hong Jin-kyung, has been brought to tears following a wave of negative comments after an 'editing controversy.'

On the 26th, the YouTube channel 'Study King Jin Genius Hong Jin-kyung' released a video titled "Hong Jin-kyung's Daughter Rael Explains 'Editing Controversy' After Deleting TikTok and Going Silent."

In the video, Rael appears to share her side of the story, though she chooses to show only her back to the camera, stating, "I don't want to reveal my face yet. Maybe when I go to college."

Rael expressed her surprise at the situation escalating, saying, "I didn't expect it to become such a big deal." She added, "I felt so wronged. There were so many negative comments," and couldn't hold back her tears.

She clarified the situation, explaining, "TikTok naturally has filters, and I didn't edit anything myself," addressing rumors that had even led to speculation about plastic surgery. She questioned, "Isn't editing something everyone does?"

Following the controversy, Rael decided to delete her TikTok account. She admitted, "Honestly, I wish people would be a bit more forgiving when I post," expressing her anxiety about social media. Watching her daughter, Hong Jin-kyung expressed her regret, saying, "I'm sorry that you can't live a normal life."

Previously, Rael had become a hot topic due to 'editing controversy' and plastic surgery rumors after her appearance on social media seemed different from the past.
