Comedian Im Ra-ra Shares Postpartum Hair Loss Struggles and Parenting Challenges

Comedian Im Ra-ra has opened up about her postpartum hair loss struggles while sharing the challenges of parenting twins, resonating with many.

The YouTube channel 'Enjoy Couple,' run by Son Min-soo and Im Ra-ra, recently uploaded a video titled 'Went for a Walk and Ended Up with a Fan Meeting... (True Story).'

In the video, the couple is seen enjoying a peaceful park walk with their twin children, Kang and Dan.

During the walk, they unexpectedly met fans, turning the outing into an impromptu fan meeting. Im Ra-ra expressed gratitude as fans smiled at her son Kang, showing her pride. The couple's home also welcomed Professors Kim Dong-wan and Lee Seo, who named the twins, drawing attention.

Professor Kim Dong-wan, known for naming children of celebrities like Yoo Jae-suk and Shin Dong-yup, shared his naming secrets, focusing on balancing the elements. Im Ra-ra explained the choice of the names Kang and Dan, matching their appearance and vibe.

However, the warm atmosphere was short-lived as Son Min-soo and Im Ra-ra returned home to face the endless parenting challenges, visibly exhausted. While resting on the sofa, Im Ra-ra pointed to her head, revealing her severe postpartum hair loss.

Son Min-soo was shocked to see the thinning hair, and Im Ra-ra confessed, "It wasn't this bad before, but now I lose a handful of hair every time I wash it," expressing her distress.

Meanwhile, Im Ra-ra, who married after a decade-long relationship in 2023, shared her difficult journey of having twins through IVF. She also recounted a harrowing experience of being denied emergency room care post-delivery, urging improvements in the medical system.
