Actor Kim Young-ho, who is battling sarcoma, has found the will to live despite the despair of three cancer recurrences.

On the 19th, Kim Young-ho appeared on the 'What Are You Doing These Days' channel, candidly sharing the painful journey of his sarcoma battle that began in 2019. Known for maintaining a muscular physique and confidence in his health, he shared the unexpected changes in his life following the cancer diagnosis, evoking sympathy.

Kim detailed the pain he endured during his treatment. He revealed, "I had to undergo surgery every year due to recurrences. Initially, my entire thigh was affected, then the inside, and the third time, my side had to be resected."

Recalling the time he opted for local anesthesia to witness the surgery, he said, "It was so painful that my whole body was drenched in sweat, but the sight of the cancer was truly disgusting."

His family became his driving force to live. Kim shared, "My daughter started cancer research because of me. She graduated in biotechnology and is now developing new drugs to cure me," he revealed, delivering a touching moment. His daughter's dedication has become his strongest reason to fight.

Once overwhelmed by thoughts of 'I'm dying,' he now cherishes every moment. Kim emphasized, "Before surgery, I couldn't sleep because I felt time was too precious. I want to live and do something, but the process of losing immunity due to chemotherapy scares me," he confessed.

Meanwhile, since his debut in 1999, Kim Young-ho has been loved for his strong performances, such as playing the gangster Lee Jung-jae in 'The Age of Wild Men.' Fans are pouring in support for his battle.
