Comedian Jung Ju-ri Shares the Chaos of Raising Five Kids as New School Year Begins

Comedian Jung Ju-ri has opened up about the hectic reality of raising five children as the new school year kicks off.

On the 18th, Jung Ju-ri released a video titled "Sending Five Kids to School and Kindergarten (feat. Start of a New School Year)" on her YouTube channel.

Appearing in front of the camera in her pajamas, Jung Ju-ri remarked, "Why do I feel so feverish?" yet proceeded to prepare her children for school.

Jung Ju-ri mentioned, "I have to send the 1st, 2nd, and 3rd graders first," as she busily prepared breakfast. Sharing updates on the new school year, she confessed, "It's like a war at home these days."

She expressed, "I'm so exhausted that I'm out of it. I can't even reply to my husband's messages," highlighting the challenges of juggling parenting and daily life.

Jung Ju-ri also revealed that the new school year brought changes to the kids' extracurricular schedules, adding to her stress. She said, "I adjusted the academy schedules based on the kids' opinions, but the cost is a constant concern."

She continued, "I wanted to send them to swimming classes twice a week, but I had to cut it down to once. I want to let them do everything they want, but it's not easy. The academy fees are a burden," she candidly shared.

Jung Ju-ri added, "I hope no one contacts me in March. It's a war zone at home," sharing a bittersweet glimpse into her parenting reality. She also humorously noted, "Before bed, they suddenly have aches, want to talk more, feel itchy, and ask for massages. They start complaining as soon as they see me."

Meanwhile, Jung Ju-ri married a non-celebrity one year her junior in 2015 and they have five sons together.
