Kwon Eun-bi Suspected as 'Industrial Spy' on 'The Boss Has Donkey Ears'
On the episode aired on the 15th, Park Myung-soo and Kwon Eun-bi met with Chef Kim Song-gi, the executive chef at L Hotel.
Upon arriving at the hotel, Park Myung-soo joked, "Idols are flooding in with love calls. GD, Jisoo, Go Yoon-jung, etc.," adding humorously, "Go Yoon-jung doesn't know she's part of the Park line yet."
Chef Kim Song-gi, with 45 years of culinary experience, revealed, "I manage 41 restaurants and bakeries across 9 hotels in Seoul, Jeju, Busan, Ulsan, etc., with 638 employees under me."
Having joined as the youngest chef at 22 and working his way up to executive chef over 45 years, Kim Song-gi was awarded the 11th Culinary Master in 2016 and participated in APEC last year. Chef Jung Ji-sun described him as "the top among chefs."
Regarding the popular strawberry buffet, Park Myung-soo commented, "Honestly, it's expensive at over 100,000 won." Kim Song-gi explained, "It's because we use the finest strawberries, not just because it's a hotel."
Kwon Eun-bi remarked, "Small business owners are struggling because of big corporations," to which Park Myung-soo retorted, "Why bring that up?" Kim Song-gi laughed, "She probably wanted to promote her cafe."
Chef Kim Song-gi shared, "I commute by subway to catch up on the latest SNS trends for menu development." When Park Myung-soo asked, "Doesn't the company provide a car?" Kim replied, "We have company cars, but I prefer public transport due to traffic congestion."
In the dessert kitchen, Kwon Eun-bi volunteered to make a lychee raspberry mousse. Park Myung-soo jokingly warned, "Be careful. She might steal the technique," treating her as an 'industrial spy' and causing laughter.
Kwon Eun-bi showcased her expertise, saying, "I develop cafe menus myself," as she meticulously crafted the dessert. Chef Kim Song-gi was impressed, stating, "For a first-timer, she could be hired by a hotel."
