Actress Roh Jeong-eui Reflects on the Conclusion of 'I'll Give You the Universe'

Actress Roh Jeong-eui shared her thoughts on the conclusion of the drama 'I'll Give You the Universe'.

The tvN drama 'I'll Give You the Universe', which concluded on the 12th, featured Roh Jeong-eui in the role of Woo Hyun-jin, a spirited young woman with a strong sense of determination. Despite the drama's low ratings, consistently hovering around 1%, Roh's performance was a standout.

In the series, Roh portrayed a character who remains undaunted by life's challenges, showing warmth towards her nephew Sun Woo-joo (played by Park Yoo-ho) and engaging in playful chemistry with Sun Tae-hyung (played by Bae In-hyuk). Her portrayal of Hyun-jin's emotional journey, from the excitement of romance to the pain of losing her sister, resonated with viewers.

Roh's on-screen chemistry with child actor Park Yoo-ho was also a highlight, as she worked to maintain a familial bond off-camera. Her dedication to the role and the project garnered attention both domestically and internationally. The drama topped the weekly viewer rankings on global OTT platform Rakuten Viki in 142 countries and ranked third in overall drama rankings on Japan's largest OTT platform U-NEXT, securing second place in the Korean-Asian category.

Upon the show's conclusion, Roh expressed her gratitude through her agency, Namoo Actors, saying, "I was truly happy to receive so much love while living as Hyun-jin. I enjoyed every moment with our universe during filming, and I spent the airing period with excitement."

She continued, "I dearly miss our beloved team even at this moment. I sincerely love our team who gave us so much affection. Above all, I am grateful to the viewers who cherished 'I'll Give You the Universe' more than I did and loved our universe. Thanks to your support, I was genuinely happy.
