Lee Chung-ah Discusses Potential Season 2 of 'Honor: Her Courtroom'

Actress Lee Chung-ah shared her thoughts on the possibility of a second season for 'Honor: Her Courtroom'.

On the 12th, Lee Chung-ah, who stars in the ENA Monday-Tuesday drama 'Honor: Her Courtroom', was interviewed at a café in Cheongdam-dong, Gangnam, Seoul.

'Honor: Her Courtroom' is a mystery thriller about three female lawyers confronting a massive scandal from their past. Lee Chung-ah plays Hwang Hyun-jin, an action-oriented lawyer at L&J (Listen and Join), a law firm specializing in female crime victims. She stars alongside Lee Na-young and Jung Eun-chae, portraying friends of 20 years.

The final episode of 'Honor: Her Courtroom', which aired on the 11th, achieved its highest ratings with 4.9% in the metropolitan area and 4.7% nationwide. The ending hinted at the emergence of another massive crime cartel, raising expectations for a potential second season.

Regarding this, Lee Chung-ah commented, "There hasn't been a definite discussion about a second season yet. Given the good ratings, I think the production company might be considering it." She added, "The series wasn't initially planned with multiple seasons in mind, but since the original work is a series, there's more anticipation." She laughed, "Even among the cast, there's a question mark about whether we're going for a second season."

Lee emphasized the realism of the ending, saying, "It's a story about things we don't want to face in reality but actually exist. Solving everything doesn't completely change the world, so I thought this ending was more realistic."

She concluded, "No matter how a story ends, there's always more to discuss. If it were the three friends in the story, I believe they would come together again to solve problems."
