Legendary Entertainer Lee Kyung-kyu and Soccer Star Ahn Jung-hwan to Debut in New Reality Show 'Parenting Intern'
tvN STORY's new variety program 'Parenting Intern' is set to premiere on April 9th, with the release of a dramatic first teaser video.
'Parenting Intern' is a reality growth show where soon-to-be grandfathers, who lack parenting experience, spend a day with a child and learn the ropes of childcare from scratch. In an era where grandparenting has become a new social topic, these veteran life experts but novice caregivers become interns in front of babies. The stars of the show are none other than Lee Kyung-kyu, a veteran of the entertainment industry for 46 years, and Ahn Jung-hwan, a legendary soccer player known for his role in 'The Lord of the Rings', who has also made a name for himself in variety shows.
In the teaser, Lee Kyung-kyu is seen carrying a baby in front, while Ahn Jung-hwan carries one on his back. They run with a baby bottle in one hand and a diaper bag in the other, sweating as they follow the command, "Run with the bottle, Parenting Intern!" This hilarious scene promises a fun and engaging storyline as these seasoned professionals take on the chaotic challenge of grandparenting.
The production team commented, "Lee Kyung-kyu used to run with a microphone instead of a baby bottle when raising his daughter, and Ahn Jung-hwan fantastically roamed the soccer field. Both are known as the entertainment industry's representative 'tsundere' figures. Look forward to seeing how 'Grumpy Grandpa' Lee Kyung-kyu and 'Soft-hearted Grandpa' Ahn Jung-hwan transform in front of the babies."
'Parenting Intern' will air its first episode on April 9th at 8 PM.
