'I Am SOLO' Episode Sparks Tension as Youngsoo Reacts to Sunja's Provocation

Youngsoo from the 30th season of 'I Am SOLO' showed a fiery reaction to Sunja's provocations.

On the episode aired on the 11th, the ENA and SBS Plus reality show 'I Am SOLO' showcased the tangled love lines of the 30th season after a simultaneous selection date.

On this day, popular contestant Youngsoo went on a 3:1 date with Sunja, Oksun, and Hyunsook. Sunja employed a strategy to secure Youngsoo's attention by calling him out before the date and sitting next to him in the car. After a ranch date, the group moved to a pub where they shared various conversations.

Youngsoo expressed his feelings about dating three women at once, saying, "It's overwhelming but I'm grateful and happy. You don't get such opportunities in real life." Sunja humorously remarked, "If you date like this outside, you'd be considered trash," causing laughter. Hyunsook asked Youngsoo about his favorite meal, to which he replied, "Honestly, the ramen I had yesterday." Sunja provocatively suggested, "Isn't jajangmyeon the best?" prompting Youngsoo to retort, "You just drink," and "That's ridiculous."

As Sunja continued her playful provocations, Youngsoo admitted, "Wow, I just got seriously angry for a moment," showing his frustration. Despite this, Sunja's teasing persisted, leading Youngsoo to sternly say, "Didn't I tell you that's my trigger?" creating a tense atmosphere.

The group also played a truth game using bottle caps. Oksun asked if Youngsoo's chosen partner from the simultaneous selection was present, to which he confirmed. Sunja then inquired about the weight of his feelings for two people, and Youngsoo explained, "It's about 6:4 now. The criteria are whether they focus solely on me or are also exploring others." Oksun optimistically assumed, "Since I'm straightforward, I must be the 6," while Sunja felt uneasy, thinking, "I must be the 6, but why?"

In a one-on-one conversation, Youngsoo addressed Sunja, saying, "It's not okay to show jealousy and ignore greetings." Sunja quickly apologized, admitting, "I was jealous." Youngsoo then surprised her by revealing, "I chose Oksun today." When Sunja asked, "Am I the 4?" Youngsoo replied, "I don't know. It seems our conversation is over, so please call Oksun." This left Sunja flustered. During his conversation with Oksun, Youngsoo expressed feeling a lack of interest from her, to which Oksun responded, "That's shocking, but if that's how you felt, I'll try harder," making Youngsoo smile.

Amidst the complex dynamics, the results of the men's simultaneous selection were revealed. Youngsoo chose Oksun, while Youngho, Kwangsoo, and Sangcheol chose Youngsook, Youngsik chose Youngja, and Youngcheol chose Jeongsook. Sunja and Hyunsook were not chosen. Sangcheol expressed regret in an interview with the production team, saying, "When I went to Youngsook, there were already three pairs of shoes. I wanted to change my choice to Sunja." Jeongsook candidly shared her feelings from a previous sauna date with Youngcheol, who sincerely expressed, "I wasn't interested at first, but I grew fond of you as we talked." Jeongsook responded, "I'd like to meet outside as well."
