Singer WOODZ Opens Up About Heartbreaking Loss on 'You Quiz on the Block'

Singer WOODZ shared a heartbreaking story of sudden loss on the tvN variety show 'You Quiz on the Block,' which aired on the 11th.

WOODZ, who gained fame with a song that went viral during his military service, appeared on the show and spoke about a significant trial in his life. He cautiously began, "I still don't know the exact cause of my father's death. I was told, 'Your father passed away abroad.'"

He continued, "After cremating my father, who was living in the Philippines, I returned to Korea with his ashes."

Reflecting on that time, WOODZ shared, "It was hard to believe that my father, who was such a big presence, was now in such a small urn."

He added, "At that time, it didn't feel real. It was only when I called his name three times at the temple that I realized he was no longer in this world."

WOODZ expressed, "In that moment, all I felt was pain." He was just 21 years old at the time. As he has grown older, he feels his father's absence more profoundly, sharing his emotions with a heavy heart.
