Actor Lee Yi-kyung Bids Farewell to 'Brave Detectives' Amidst Personal Controversy

Actor Lee Yi-kyung, who temporarily stepped down from 'Brave Detectives' following personal controversies, has officially announced his departure.

On the 9th, tcast E Channel revealed that 'Brave Detectives 5' is set to premiere on the 27th. The show is a crime entertainment program that vividly portrays real-life cases solved by detectives who have worked tirelessly to ensure public safety.

With the new season of 'Brave Detectives 5', MCs Kim Sun-young and Lee Yi-kyung will be saying goodbye after the conclusion of season 4. Long-time hosts Ahn Jung-hwan and Kwon Il-yong will be joined by new MCs Kwak Sun-young and Yoon Doo-joon. Kwak Sun-young, known for her strong acting skills and unique character, is expected to provide sharp case analyses, while Yoon Doo-joon, a member of the group Highlight and an actor, is anticipated to bring enthusiastic energy to the show.

'Brave Detectives 5' will air its first episode on the 27th at 9:50 PM and will also be available on major OTT platforms like Netflix, TVING, and Wavve. The web variety show 'Detective Talk 2' will be released every Friday at 7 PM on the YouTube channel 'Detectives' Talk'.
