On the latest episode of KBS 2TV's 'New Release Pyeonstorang,' aired on October 6, former girl group icons Sunye, Yubin, and Kahi shared some of their most memorable and rebellious stories from their peak days. Sunye, now a mother of three, hosted her former Wonder Girls bandmate Yubin and After School's charismatic leader Kahi at her home, serving them delicious homemade Korean dishes. The gathering of these legendary girl group members led to a night filled with laughter and nostalgia for viewers.

Sunye, who married at 24 and has been living in Canada, showcased her culinary skills with dishes like pressure-cooked cold pig's feet, K-fish and chips made with pollock, and her mother-in-law's cabbage kimchi. She even prepared a special chicken noodle soup for her guests, who have also lived abroad. Sunye's ability to create simple yet flavorful Korean meals with easily accessible ingredients was on full display.

The 'special friends' Sunye mentioned were none other than Yubin and Kahi. Both were amazed by Sunye's cooking, responding with enthusiastic praise and hearty appetites. Watching her friends enjoy the meal, Sunye couldn't hide her satisfaction.

The trio then delved into their girl group memories. When Kahi asked what they did for fun during their active years, Sunye and Yubin shared a surprising club story. They revealed that as soon as Sunye and Yeeun turned 18, they went on a club tour with JYP, who treated the Wonder Girls like family. Meanwhile, Kahi candidly admitted that After School members once got caught sneaking out to meet guys, resulting in their phones being confiscated, which left everyone in stitches.

The conversation also turned to motherhood, with Sunye and Kahi sharing their pregnancy experiences. Kahi revealed she gained 18kg during her pregnancy due to cravings but lost it all within three months postpartum. Sunye, who lived in Canada, shared that she had all three of her daughters at home with minimal medical intervention, describing it as an unforgettable and mystical experience. She even recounted eating seaweed soup before and after giving birth in bed, which intrigued fellow guest Nam Bora.

The episode also featured a 'Immunity Boosting Meal' competition. Contestants Kim Kang-woo, Nam Bora, and Sunye, none of whom had previously won, presented their final dishes with pride. Kim Kang-woo's 'Black Garlic Meatballs' received unanimous praise from the judging panel, earning him his first victory.

Kim Kang-woo expressed his joy, saying, "I never imagined this," and compared his happiness to winning the KBS Entertainment Awards' Rookie of the Year, claiming it was ten times more thrilling. KBS 2TV's 'New Release Pyeonstorang' airs every Friday at 8:30 PM.
