Actress Pyo Ye-jin Reveals Her Journey from Youngest Flight Attendant to Acclaimed Actress
On the October 6th episode of MBN and Channel S's variety show 'Jeon Hyun-moo Plan 3', Pyo Ye-jin appeared as a guest, exploring seafood restaurants in Jeju Island.
During the show, Pyo Ye-jin revealed that she became a flight attendant in 2011, overcoming high competition to achieve the position at a young age.
However, she resigned after just a year and a half. Pyo Ye-jin explained her decision, saying, "I enjoyed traveling to new countries and meeting people, but when I looked 10 years ahead, it felt stifling as a lifelong career."
Choosing the uncertain path of acting over a stable job, she added, "I decided to give acting a try for about 10 years."
Pyo Ye-jin also shared that her family initially opposed her decision. "My father stopped talking to me, and my mother and I cried together," she recalled. Despite her parents' objections, she persevered, distributing her profile to 10 places a day, which eventually led to her current success.
She noted that her parents' attitudes have since changed, saying, "Nowadays, my parents are very happy," with a smile.
Meanwhile, Pyo Ye-jin recently received praise for her role as the genius hacker and beloved youngest member, Ahn Go-eun, in the popular drama 'Taxi Driver 3', which concluded in January.
