Actor Lee Sang-yun, known for his physics major at Seoul National University, has successfully concluded his performance in the play 'Turing Machine'.

From January 8 to March 1, Lee took on the role of the British mathematical genius 'Alan Turing' in the play 'Turing Machine', performed at the S Theater of the Sejong Center for the Performing Arts in Seoul. The play, which ran for nearly two months, ended amidst enthusiastic responses from the audience.

'Turing Machine' is a work that delves into the life of Alan Turing, the man who deciphered the German code 'Enigma' during World War II and laid the foundation for modern computer science. The play's unique four-sided stage setup brought the actors closer to the audience, enhancing the immersion into the character's inner world and emotions. Lee Sang-yun anchored the play with his portrayal of Turing's complex personality, delivering a nuanced performance.

Lee's portrayal of the solitary and contemplative genius was particularly noteworthy, showcasing his intense and layered acting skills. His solid internal performance maximized the theatrical appeal, leaving a lasting impression on the audience.

Through his unwavering focus and stable presence on stage, Lee Sang-yun reaffirmed why he is considered a 'trustworthy actor'.
