First Look: Go Youn-jung Shines in 'Fighting Against One's Worthlessness'
JTBC has unveiled the first stills of actress Go Youn-jung from the upcoming drama 'Fighting Against One's Worthlessness'. Earlier this year, Go Youn-jung charmed audiences with her chemistry alongside Kim Seon-ho in Netflix's 'Is This Love Translatable?'.

'Fighting Against One's Worthlessness' (abbreviated as 'FAOW') follows the journey of a person driven to madness by jealousy and envy among successful friends, as they seek inner peace. In the drama, Go Youn-jung takes on the role of Byun Eun-ah.

Byun Eun-ah is a talented producer at Choi Film, known in the industry by the fierce nickname 'Axe'. This moniker comes from her sharp script review skills, which are said to be as impactful as an axe to the head. Despite her strong demeanor in front of her cunning boss, she harbors hidden insecurities and anxieties. Her unexpected nosebleeds hint at a deeper, untold story, piquing viewers' curiosity.

The first images of Go Youn-jung in 'FAOW' reveal her approaching the character with a natural and understated visual. Her portrayal of a film producer's daily life is realistic, with a simple outfit and a bare face, showcasing her growth as an actress. Her seemingly indifferent yet piercing gaze captures the insight of 'Axe' PD, as well as the complex emotions hidden beneath.

The production team stated, "Go Youn-jung brings stability to the drama by portraying the character's multifaceted nature. Her nuanced performance will leave a lasting impression on viewers as she delves deep into the character's inner world."

'Fighting Against One's Worthlessness' is set to premiere this April.
