Sunye Shares Her Natural Birth Experience on 'New Release, Pyeonstorang'
Airing on the 6th, the show will feature Sunye, who transitioned from a national idol to a mother of three daughters, sharing her unique story. Married at 24 and living in Canada, Sunye reveals that she gave birth to all three of her daughters at home through natural childbirth. This method, which involves giving birth without medical interventions like epidurals or drugs, piqued the interest of fellow guest Nam Bora, who is also a mother.
In the VCR segment, Sunye invites Wonder Girls' Yubin and After School's Kahi to her home, where she serves them homemade Korean dishes she mastered while living in Canada. Both Yubin and Kahi were impressed by Sunye's culinary skills, repeatedly asking for take-home portions as they devoured the food.
Sunye recounted, "The first was tough, but with the second, I felt contractions while eating, went to the bed to deliver, and then returned to finish my seaweed soup." Her story left everyone in awe, as she described the mystical experiences associated with natural childbirth.
The discussion also touched on post-pregnancy weight loss. Kahi, known for her healthy image, shared, "I gained 18kg during pregnancy due to cravings but lost it all within three months after giving birth." Yubin's reactions to these stories and the advice given by her married friends, Sunye and Kahi, remain to be seen.
Catch the candid childbirth talks of these original girl group idols and Sunye's home-cooked meals on 'Pyeonstorang' this Friday. Due to WBC coverage, the show will air later than usual at 10 PM.
