SBS Unveils Special Poster for New Drama 'Shin-Irang Law Office'
Directed by Shin Jung-hoon and written by Kim Ga-young and Kang Chul-kyu, 'Shin-Irang Law Office' is produced by Studio S and Mongjakso. The drama is a unique and heartwarming adventure about 'possessed lawyer' Shin-Irang, who resolves the grudges of the deceased, and 'cold-blooded elite lawyer' Han Na-hyun, who is determined to win at all costs. Previously released teaser and main posters introduced the mysterious world of the drama, featuring a space filled with incense and talismans, and a law office connected to the unseen world. On the 4th, the special poster, completing the final piece of this world, was unveiled.
The special poster expands the focus from the interior of the law office to the building's 'rooftop.' Set against the backdrop of a sunset over the skyscrapers of Seoul, Shin-Irang (Yoo Yeon-seok) and Han Na-hyun (Lee Som) are seen looking up at the sky from the rooftop of the building where the law office, once a shaman's house, is located. The brazier in front of the two lawyers draws attention. Surrounded by bricks, the brazier contains a burning flame with a talisman placed beneath it, symbolizing the space where Shin-Irang performs the final ritual to send off the spirits after resolving their grudges.
On this rooftop, a quiet farewell follows the spirited courtroom battles that ease the grievances of the deceased. The poignant emotion evoked by the silhouette of the city at sunset symbolically represents the unique sentiment of 'Shin-Irang Law Office.' Beyond the thrilling courtroom drama, the poster encapsulates a world where mourning and respect for the deceased coexist. The composition of Shin-Irang and Han Na-hyun standing side by side, looking at the same sky, is also significant, hinting at their evolution from handling cases in different ways to becoming partners with a shared goal. It also raises curiosity about the changes that the cold and ruthless Han Na-hyun will undergo in this space.
The production team stated, "The rooftop in this special poster is where the message of the work converges. If the courtroom resolution is 'action,' the farewell on the rooftop is 'heart.' Through this space, viewers will feel the warm sentiment of 'Shin-Irang Law Office' more clearly." They added, "With the first broadcast just ten days away, we ask for your interest and affection for the stories that will unfold on this rooftop, where grudges and comfort intersect."
SBS's new Friday-Saturday drama 'Shin-Irang Law Office' premieres on March 13 at 9:50 PM.
