Yoo Jae-suk Bows Down in 'Hangout with Yoo' as Payment Games Escalate
On the October 28th episode, titled 'War Against Crime: The Era of Country Folks', Yoo Jae-suk, Haha, Heo Kyung-hwan, Joo Woo-jae, and Yang Sang-guk engaged in a series of payment challenges.
Yang Sang-guk caught attention by revealing, "I live in an 18th-floor apartment in Yeoksam-dong, Gangnam." When Yoo Jae-suk suggested splitting the bill at a café, Yang Sang-guk expressed his discontent, saying, "People from the countryside treat Seoul visitors generously. Are you broke?"
The payment game continued after lunch. Despite Yang Sang-guk's plea, "You earn well, senior. I have no house, family, or children," he ended up paying 168,000 won.
Feeling guilty about the guest's large payment, Yoo Jae-suk apologized. Yang Sang-guk vented, "Seoul people are tough. They invite you but don't treat you to a meal. This isn't right."
As the financial gap widened, Yoo Jae-suk joked at a high-end barbecue restaurant, "Leave if you can't afford it." Haha tried to push the bill onto Yoo Jae-suk again, but Yoo Jae-suk bowed deeply to avoid paying.
Yang Sang-guk was shocked, "The national MC is bowing to me, a junior." After the meal, the members suspiciously moved together to the restroom, but Yoo Jae-suk, Joo Woo-jae, and Heo Kyung-hwan escaped, leaving the others in stitches.
In the end, Heo Kyung-hwan was chosen to pay 506,000 won, expressing his disbelief, "Wow, this is crazy. I never expected this."
