Comedian Jang Dong-min Shocks Studio with Dramatic Post-Surgery Transformation
On the October 26th episode of MBC's 'Save Me! Holmes' (hereafter referred to as 'Holmes'), comedians Kim Dae-hee, Jang Dong-min, and Shin Bong-sun explored various traditional 'K-homes' that have evolved over time.
Jang Dong-min appeared wearing dark sunglasses despite it being broad daylight, leaving Kim Dae-hee and Shin Bong-sun bewildered. Kim Dae-hee scolded him, saying, "Why are you wearing sunglasses when there's no sun?" prompting Jang Dong-min to remove them.
Jang Dong-min's eyes were visibly swollen due to the aftereffects of a recent cosmetic procedure. It was revealed that he had undergone a 'thread lifting' procedure to regain a youthful appearance.
The panelists were left speechless by Jang Dong-min's transformed look. Yang Se-hyung joked, "I was shocked. I thought Won Bin was sitting next to me," causing laughter. Kim Sook commented, "He looks like he's back in his 30s. He looks 10 years younger," admiring his changed facial contours.
Jang Dong-min, who was filming just two days after the procedure, confidently stated, "As a celebrity, isn't it important to maintain oneself?" while also apologizing to viewers for appearing with a swollen face. Previously, Jang Dong-min had made headlines by confessing to cosmetic surgery on a YouTube channel, saying, "I got my nose and eyes done."
