'I Am SOLO': Tensions Rise as Contestants Face Romantic Dilemmas

On the latest episode of ENA and SBS Plus's reality show 'I Am SOLO,' aired on the 25th, viewers witnessed the unfolding drama among the contestants. The episode highlighted the growing rift between Young-sik and Young-ja, the fallout between Young-ho and Young-sook, and the budding romance between Young-chul and Jung-sook during a late-night snack date.

Young-sook, shocked by Young-ho's choice of Hyun-sook over her, expressed her frustration to the other female contestants. She vented, "Would I want my top choice to eat a solitary meal? I wouldn't have done that," showing her anger. Soon-ja approached Young-soo, probing his feelings by saying, "Your indecision makes me uncertain too." Young-soo, still focused on his top choice, Young-ja, replied, "You should be uncertain because of my indecision."

During the daytime date, all the female contestants paid for their meals, showcasing their independence. In the evening, Young-sook chose Young-ho, and Jung-sook picked Young-chul. Soon-ja and Ok-soon both selected Young-soo, reigniting their rivalry, while Young-ja chose Young-sik, and Hyun-sook opted for Sang-chul. Kwang-soo, unfortunately, was left without a choice and had to dine alone.

Sang-chul, having moved on from Hyun-sook, couldn't even make eye contact during their late-night snack date. He candidly expressed his interest in getting to know Young-sook and Soon-ja better. Hyun-sook acknowledged this with a nod, ending their date in tense silence.

Young-sook, harboring resentment towards Young-ho, confronted him from the start. Young-ho defended his actions, saying, "I didn't think it was something to apologize for. Given the nature of 'I Am SOLO,' I saw it as an opportunity," but admitted, "I did feel strangely sorry." Young-sook retorted, "How would you feel if the roles were reversed? Do you often do things you regret in relationships?"

Young-ho attempted to reassure Young-sook by stating, "You're still my top choice." However, Young-sook was displeased, asking, "Did you really have to add 'still'?" Young-ho explained, "My feelings can change. If things deepen, I'll make a final choice, and if you choose someone else, I'll step back." Disappointed, Young-sook remarked, "There's a lack of consideration for me. Can we talk about the future in this situation?"

Young-chul and Jung-sook discovered unexpected feelings during their date. Young-chul expressed interest in both Soon-ja and Jung-sook, and the two introverts agreed to a walk the next day. Jung-sook, showing her independent spirit, told the long-distance Young-chul, "I’m willing to give it a try."

After the date, Jung-sook expressed satisfaction, saying, "We share similar values and perspectives," while Young-chul admitted, "I feel comfortable with her." The preview for the next episode teased a showdown between Soon-ja and Ok-soon over Young-soo, with Young-soo confessing his feelings to Young-ja and Soon-ja giving him a cold shoulder, hinting at more drama to come.
