Tensions Rise as Hyun Joo-yeop's Son Walks Out on 'Dad and Me Season 3'

In a dramatic turn of events on 'Dad and Me Season 3', former basketball player and broadcaster Hyun Joo-yeop's son, Hyun Jun-hee, refuses to continue filming and abruptly leaves home.

On the episode airing on the 25th, TV CHOSUN's 'Dad and Me Season 3' showcases Hyun Joo-yeop rummaging through his son Jun-hee's room while he is out at a convenience store. Amidst the clutter on the desk, Hyun discovers a four-cut photo of Jun-hee with his first love and a rabbit keychain. While attempting to organize Jun-hee's cherished model kits, Hyun accidentally damages them further, leading to a chaotic situation. Jeon Hyun-moo, witnessing the unfolding drama, remarked, "I can't watch this," anticipating the fallout between Hyun and his son.

As expected, upon returning home and finding his father in his room, Jun-hee reacted sharply, questioning, "Why did you go in there?" When Hyun inquired about the photo and keychain, Jun-hee retorted, "Why did you touch it? It's very precious to me. It's a couple's item with my sister. Didn't I tell you not to touch it?" Overwhelmed with emotion, Jun-hee removed his microphone, refused to continue filming, and left the house, ignoring his father's calls. To the production team, Jun-hee expressed, "I was furious inside. Seeing my precious photos and memories being handled carelessly made me very angry."

However, Hyun Joo-yeop struggled to comprehend his son's sudden outburst. Jeon Hyun-moo sighed, "Do you still not understand why he's upset? This isn't good," empathizing with Jun-hee's perspective. He added, "At that age, respecting one's space and belongings is crucial. I was sensitive at Jun-hee's age too. Personal items might be okay to touch, but issues involving the opposite sex are significant. Parents can turn a simple photo with a female friend into hours of questioning. It's unnecessary, so we hide it."

Hyun Jun-hee has previously been hospitalized four times due to insomnia, breathing difficulties, and nightmares, with three of those instances requiring admission to a closed ward due to severe health deterioration. Currently undergoing treatment with psychiatric medication, Hyun Joo-yeop was taken aback by his son's unexpected behavior and set out to find him.
