Netflix's 'Lady Dua' and 'Pavane' Dominate Global Non-English Charts
'Lady Dua', which tells the story of a woman named 'Sarah Kim' who aspires to be a luxury brand, and the man 'Moo Kyung' who tracks her desires, has climbed to the top of the global TOP 10 non-English shows in its second week, recording 10,000,000 views (calculated by dividing the viewing time by the total running time of the work). The series has also topped the charts in 33 countries, including South Korea, Japan, Hong Kong, Malaysia, Mexico, Peru, and the Philippines, and has made it to the TOP 10 list in a total of 65 countries.
Meanwhile, the newly released stills capture various moments of 'Sarah Kim' (Shin Hye-sun) and 'Park Moo Kyung' (Lee Jun-hyuk), as well as other characters encountered on their journey to uncover the truth. From introducing herself as 'Sarah Kim' at a department store to becoming 'Dua', 'Kim Eun-jae', and the Asian branch manager of 'Buduah', the stills offer glimpses into her multiple identities and lives, evoking moments when her hidden desires come to fruition.
Furthermore, the film 'Pavane', which depicts three people who become a light for each other and face life and love, has recorded 2,000,000 views in just three days since its release, ranking seventh in the global TOP 10 non-English films.
'Yohan' (Byun Yo-han) is shown performing surrounded by people, showcasing his passion for music and free-spirited charm, raising expectations for the story and music he will present. 'Kyung-rok' (Moon Sang-min), who is the only one to see the real 'Mi-jung' without prejudice, smiles and holds hands with 'Mi-jung', tickling the hearts of viewers worldwide and heightening anticipation for their youthful romance.
Moreover, Park Hae-jun and Lee Bong-ryeon, who appear as 'Kyung-rok's parents, enhance the immersion of the story, raising curiosity about how their stories will add depth to the narrative. As characters with their own stories meet and find light in each other's presence, global viewers' expectations for this heartwarming tale continue to rise.
