Actor Couple Opens Up About 17 Years of Marriage, Parenting, and Industry Challenges
Celebrating their 17th wedding anniversary, an actor couple candidly shared the challenges of their entertainment careers, their firm beliefs on parenting, and their genuine feelings for each other.

On the YouTube channel 'Kim Jung-nan' run by actor Kim Kang-woo, a video titled 'Honey, Don't Say That... A 17-Year Married Couple's Q&A That Made Kim Kang-woo Sweat' was released.

In the video, Kim Kang-woo cautiously asked his wife if she was uncomfortable with the public attention after revealing her appearance recently. However, Han Moo-myung responded nonchalantly, saying, "Only one person recognized me," showing her relaxed attitude. Contrary to Kim Kang-woo's concerns about potential negative comments, Han Moo-myung expressed gratitude, saying, "Everyone has been kind," bringing laughter with her cool demeanor.

The couple also openly discussed the unique challenges and rewards of being married to an actor. When asked if there was anything she particularly paid attention to as an actor's spouse, Han Moo-myung replied, "Not at all," and when asked about the positives, she humorously said, "Not a single one," causing laughter on set. Kim Kang-woo admitted to struggling with his cold image, saying, "As I approach menopause, I try to talk more," but Han Moo-myung revealed his human side, describing him as "a person full of clumsy charm."

The most striking part of the conversation was about their children's future. When asked what they would do if their child wanted to follow in their father's footsteps and become an actor, Han Moo-myung firmly stated, "I oppose it because the stress would be too great for the child." Kim Kang-woo also confessed, "Being an actor makes it very difficult to maintain a routine, and without self-discipline, it's easy to become lazy," acknowledging the unique challenges of his profession and expressing his regrets. He added a heartfelt apology to his family, admitting he often feels selfish for having their lives revolve around his schedule.
