K-Drama 'Simu-myeon Yeonliri' Teaser Released: Park Sung-woong's Forced Rural Life
Set to air on March 26, KBS 2TV's new miniseries 'Simu-myeon Yeonliri' is a heartwarming family reboot drama. It follows the urban family of Seong Tae-hoon, who are suddenly relocated to the pristine yet daunting area of Yeonliri, as they strive to return to Seoul.
In the drama, Park Sung-woong plays Seong Tae-hoon, a man who climbed the corporate ladder to become a department head at a major company. However, due to an unexpected transfer, he and his family move to the rural area of Yeonliri. The story will depict Seong Tae-hoon's journey from city life to finding true happiness in nature, promising viewers a dose of harmless humor.
'Simu-myeon Yeonliri' is directed by Choi Yeon-soo, known for co-directing '24-Hour Fitness Club', 'Crazy Love', and 'The Ballot'. The script is penned by Song Jeong-rim, who wrote 'Let's Get Married, Mangpong!', and Wang Hye-ji, known for 'Romance Without Love'. The drama also stars Lee Soo-kyung as Park Sung-woong's on-screen wife, creating a buzz with their trusted pairing.
'Simu-myeon Yeonliri' premieres on March 26 at 9:50 PM.
