Lee Jong-suk Cast in 'Lee Seop's Romance' Amidst Public Relationship with IU

Actor Lee Jong-suk, who recently went public with his relationship with singer IU, has been cast as the lead in the drama 'Lee Seop's Romance'.

The K-content series 'Lee Seop's Romance', which boasts a strong fanbase both domestically and internationally, will be adapted into a live-action series along with 'Calm Lies', featuring Lee Jong-suk and actor Lee Jun-hyuk as the main characters.

Both 'Lee Seop's Romance' and 'Calm Lies' are popular novels by author Kim Eun-hee, originally published as web novels. The series has gained global popularity and critical acclaim, with the original works sharing the same universe but focusing on different protagonists. The live-action adaptations will continue this interconnected narrative.

'Lee Seop's Romance' is an office romance between Tae I-seop, a third-generation chaebol who is perfect in every way except for romance, and Kang Min-kyung, known as the secret weapon of TK Group. 'Calm Lies' follows the romance of Tae Jun-seop, the grandson of TK Group's chairman, and copywriter Yeon Woo-kyung, as they get entangled in the succession battle of TK Group.

Lee Jong-suk and Lee Jun-hyuk will take on the lead roles in each series. The shared universe of TK Group and the cousin relationship between Tae I-seop and Tae Jun-seop will be explored in both series. The two actors, known for their reliable performances across genres, are set to deliver captivating office romances and bromances centered around the succession battle, heightening anticipation for both projects.
