Kim Hee-jung Takes on a Villainous Role in New Drama 'Red Pearl'
Actress Kim Hee-jung is set to portray the wife of the chairman of the Adel Group in the drama 'Red Pearl.'

On the 23rd, an online production presentation for KBS 2TV's new daily drama 'Red Pearl' was held. The event was attended by actors Park Jin-hee, Nam Sang-ji, Choi Jae-sung, Kim Hee-jung, Kim Kyung-bo, Kang Da-bin, Chun Hee-joo, and director Kim Sung-geun.

'Red Pearl' is a gripping and intense revenge chronicle that follows two women, Kim Dan-hee (played by Park Jin-hee) and Baek Jin-joo (played by Nam Sang-ji), as they uncover the hidden sins and truths within the Adel family under false identities.

Kim Hee-jung takes on the role of Oh Jung-ran, the wife of Park Tae-ho (played by Choi Jae-sung) and the director of the Adel Gallery. Regarding her decision to join the project, she stated, "I was drawn to the role because it was the first time in a while that I was offered a villainous character. I thought it could be a new acting transformation for me."

Choi Jae-sung plays Park Tae-ho, the chairman of the Adel Group and Oh Jung-ran's husband. Reflecting on his collaboration with Kim Hee-jung, he said, "It was great. We've worked together on several projects in the past, so filming this time was really comfortable. She helped me a lot by understanding the situation just by looking at my eyes."

'Red Pearl' premieres on the 23rd at 7:50 PM.
