Yang Chi-seung Opens Up About Life's Second Act from a $10 Million Han River View Apartment

On the 22nd, the YouTube channel 'Yang Chi-seung's MakTube' released a video titled, "Yang Chi-seung, Once Afraid of Dining Costs, Now Dines with Corporate Chairmen."

Recently, Yang Chi-seung revealed that he has taken on a new role overseeing the community of a Han River view apartment in Cheongdam-dong, Seoul, marking his transformation into a company employee.

Yang invited a close junior to the apartment, treating them to coffee and desserts at the 34th-floor sky lounge. He expressed his emotions, saying, "I was underground. I came up from the 35th basement floor in a reversal."

Inside the café, Yang shared cookies and bread with his junior, reflecting, "After quitting the gym, the hardest part was not being able to afford a proper meal. It was painful not being able to keep in touch. I was very angry with myself."

Looking out at the expansive Han River view through the floor-to-ceiling windows, Yang recalled, "I only thought about jumping into the Han River," reminiscing about his difficult past.

He continued, "I want to be someone who can always offer something warm without having to ask for favors. That's why I live diligently. That's the greatest happiness," sharing his personal philosophy on happiness.

Yang Chi-seung previously shared his unfortunate story of losing approximately $1.5 million due to a rental scam last year, which also forced him to close his long-running gym. Despite the significant financial loss, he donated $10,000 to wildfire recovery efforts, demonstrating his commitment to good deeds, though he ultimately had to close his gym.
