'Beloved Thief' Continues to Captivate Audiences with Rising Ratings

The drama 'Beloved Thief,' starring actress Nam Ji-hyun, is maintaining its upward trajectory. Previously struggling to find a breakthrough despite featuring well-known actors, KBS's weekend mini-series has found success with 'Beloved Thief.'

As it approaches its final chapter, KBS 2TV's Saturday-Sunday mini-series 'Beloved Thief' achieved its highest rating yet with 7.3% for its 12th episode. The show, which portrays the poignant affection of Prince Lee Yeol (played by Moon Sang-min), continues to deeply engage viewers. In light of this, Nam Ji-hyun (playing Hong Eun-jo) and Moon Sang-min shared their favorite scenes and lines.

Nam Ji-hyun, who once again proves her prowess in historical dramas as the bold and righteous medical woman Hong Eun-jo, chose the scene where "Hong Eun-jo has a big argument with Im Jae-yi (played by Hong Min-ki) and then meets Lee Yeol." She explained, "It's a moment where she realizes that this person is truly good for her and someone she can't give up on, yet she resolves to push him away. I like it because it perfectly captures Hong Eun-jo's conflicting emotions."

Moon Sang-min, who portrays Lee Yeol's unwavering devotion to Hong Eun-jo, selected the ending scene of episode 2 with the line, "Yes, you, flower shoes, flower rain. Caught, a single flower," as his favorite. He stated, "It's a moment where Lee Yeol openly shows his feelings for Hong Eun-jo, and I think it captures his first genuine emotion well. Despite being a short line, it is filled with Lee Yeol's emotions, making it memorable."

He added, "Another memorable scene is the night scenes with Eun-jo. During filming, there were days when the moon was exceptionally clear and bright, and that scenery naturally overlapped with the emotions of the scenes with Eun-jo, making it unforgettable. Such moments deepened Lee Yeol's emotions, leaving me with happy memories."

'Beloved Thief' will air its 15th episode on the 21st at 9:20 PM, followed by the final episode on the 22nd at 9:20 PM.
