New JTBC Series 'Shining' Explores Timeless Love and Reunion After a Decade
On the 19th, JTBC released a highlight video capturing the essence of time and emotion between Yeon Tae-seo (played by Park Jin-young) and Mo Eun-ah (played by Kim Min-ju).
The highlight video begins with the moment Yeon Tae-seo first encounters Mo Eun-ah after transferring to a rural school. It showcases their youthful days, studying side by side in the classroom and riding bicycles home together. The budding romance between Yeon Tae-seo and Mo Eun-ah evokes memories of first love, accompanied by the narration, "All I could offer was my heart."
However, their once vibrant time begins to fade. Yeon Tae-seo confesses, "Breakups are dreadful for me," while Mo Eun-ah suggests, "Let's not force our times to match," adding a layer of poignancy.
After going their separate ways, they reunite a decade later. Despite the long absence, Yeon Tae-seo and Mo Eun-ah still hold deep significance for each other. Yeon Tae-seo's confession, "I still feel the same as I did 10 years ago," signals the rekindling of their relationship.
The video ends with the question, "Can we illuminate each other like we did back then?" This leaves viewers curious about the future of the couple, who embody both the brilliance of the past and the tenderness of the present. As they stand together once more, the question remains whether they can look in the same direction.
'Shining' premieres on March 6 at 8:50 PM, with the first two episodes airing consecutively.
