Kim shared, "In my childhood, I was so ashamed of my sick brother that I couldn't even ask for prayers," as she tearfully opened up about the hidden scars she carried.
"He was always the brother I took everywhere, my closest friend," Kim said, revealing that her brother suffered a brain injury from a car accident as a child. "He's been sick for over 30 years. The brain injury led to complications," she added, noting that he was the only son among four daughters.
"As my parents aged, they lost their strength. Each sibling took on a role for my brother, and mine was bathing him," she explained.
What moved netizens the most was her selfless caregiving. Kim confessed, "It's unimaginable for a sister to bathe her brother. When it was really tough, I had to change his diapers and clean him. It was embarrassing to clean his lower body," she admitted.
Six years ago, Kim shared on a broadcast, "My brother is in his early 40s. When we were younger, my parents could care for all five children, but as they aged, they couldn't manage my brother anymore," she said. "I clean him without hesitation now, realizing, 'I can help him this way,'" she added, touching many hearts.
