Actor Im Hyun-sik Pays Heartfelt Tribute to Late Lee Soon-jae

Actor Im Hyun-sik recently visited the memorial of the late Lee Soon-jae.

On the October 19th episode of MBN's 'Special World,' Im Hyun-sik made an appearance.

During the broadcast, Im shared, "I've lived alone for a long time. Because of that, I haven't been able to maintain a regular lifestyle," updating viewers on his current situation.

He also mentioned his health issues, stating, "My vascular activity wasn't good, so I had to undergo a procedure. After getting a stent, my blood circulation improved."

Im Hyun-sik, holding a bouquet, visited the memorial of the late Lee Soon-jae.

"I couldn't be there for my senior's final journey," Im confessed. "I went to the funeral but couldn't bring myself to enter. It still doesn't feel real that he's gone, and I was afraid I might break down in tears if I went in."

He also reminisced about his special connection with Lee Soon-jae. "When he was acting on stage, I was just a student. I had the chance to work with him in minor roles. He was someone I deeply respected," Im recalled.

Reflecting on other late colleagues, Im said, "Even with someone like the late Kim Soo-mi, who did many family performances, it doesn't feel like someone else's story when you see so many leaving us." His words conveyed a deep sense of loss for his departed peers.
