Actor Park Jung-min Discusses 'Chungju Man's' Resignation on Radio Show
Recently appointed as the ambassador for Chungju City, actor Park Jung-min mentioned the resignation of 'Chungju Man' during a broadcast.

On the October 17th episode of KBS Cool FM's 'Oh My Girl Hyojung's Raise the Volume,' actor Park Jung-min, who stars in the movie 'Humint,' appeared as a guest.

During the show, a listener congratulated Park on becoming the ambassador for Chungju City. Park humorously responded, "Thanks to Chungju Man, I became the ambassador. He appointed me and then submitted his resignation."

Park further joked, "I even went to the Chungju YouTube channel and put the Chungju mascot grip tok on my phone, and then he resigned."

On October 3rd, Park appeared on Chungju City's official YouTube channel, where he received the 'Chungju City Ambassador' appointment from Kim Seon-tae, known as 'Chungju Man.' Park accepted the role, stating, "My hometown is Chungju. All my family lives there."

However, on October 13th, Kim Seon-tae unexpectedly announced his resignation, adding to the surprise. According to Chungju City, Kim submitted his resignation to the HR department and went on extended leave. He is expected to officially retire at the end of the month.
