K-Pop Star Jang Hyun-seung Seeks Redemption with Heartfelt Apology and Fan Event
K-pop singer Jang Hyun-seung, who previously faced criticism for his indifferent attitude during group activities, is making amends with a sincere apology to fans and a special event to connect with them.

The YouTube channel 'MMTG Civilization Express,' produced and operated by SBS News, recently uploaded a video titled 'Jang Hyun-seung's 100-Person Fan Sign Event is Really Happening.'

The video showcases the planning process of Jang Hyun-seung's 'A/S In-Person Fan Sign Event.' Reflecting on his past behavior during his time with the group Beast, where he often avoided eye contact and appeared uninterested during signings, Jang expressed deep regret, admitting, "I don't know why I acted that way."

Appearing with a noticeably brighter demeanor, Jang Hyun-seung shared, "After the last shoot, I was so drained that I was bedridden for three days," yet he emphasized his strong desire to apologize to his fans.

During the preparation for the fan sign event, Jang Hyun-seung was humorously flustered by MC Jaejae's comparisons. When Jaejae mentioned Park Bo-gum's interaction with 200 fans, Jang confidently stated, "I won't be outdone in fan love anymore," but admitted his concern about whether 100 fans would show up, fearing some might have lost interest in him. When further examples of fan interactions by Park Bo-gum and actor Kim Nam-gil were brought up, Jang hesitated, saying, "I haven't danced in a long time," but reaffirmed his commitment by stating, "This fan sign event isn't for my benefit."

For this event, Jang Hyun-seung personally selected the paper for autographs and gifts for fans, even resuming dance practice to show his changed attitude. Once criticized for his lack of enthusiasm, Jang plans to meet fans with a renewed spirit, aiming to dispel past criticisms. He expressed a heartfelt desire to embrace fans who were hurt by his previous behavior, showcasing a clear shift in his approach to fan interactions.
