Comedian Ji Sang-ryeol Dismisses Breakup Rumors, Contemplates Marriage with Shin Bo-ram
On the January 14th episode of KBS 2TV's 'Men Who Do Housework Season 2', Ji Sang-ryeol was seen participating in a temple stay to welcome the New Year.
Upon arriving at the temple, Ji faced suspicions of a breakup. During the first session of the temple stay, which involved 108 prostrations, Ji humorously struggled, letting out a fart during his second bow and expressing his embarrassment.
He explained, "Using muscles I don't usually use caused some errors. 108 bows are not easy." When a monk suggested he could stop if it was too difficult, Ji sat down after just two bows, causing laughter.
During the second session, a tea conversation, Ji spoke with Monk Jeok-gyeong, mentioning he met a good person last year, referring to his 16-years-younger girlfriend Shin Bo-ram. The monk asked if they had any arguments, to which Ji admitted, "We argued about my drinking. She asked me to cut down."
Ji told Shin, "I can't quit drinking immediately. I can't change overnight, but I'll show gradual improvement." Eun Ji-won, watching this, expressed shock, saying, "I've never seen this side of Sang-ryeol before."
When the monk asked if Ji was considering marriage, Ji cautiously replied, "I'm grateful to have someone I can care for in my life. It would be nice to become eternal companions." Monk Jeok-gyeong offered profound advice, saying, "If you want to keep seeing this person by your side, that's marriage."
