Jin Se-yeon Reveals Her First Kiss Partner on 'My Ugly Duckling'

Actress Jin Se-yeon revealed that her first kiss partner was actor Choi Jin-hyuk on the SBS variety show 'My Ugly Duckling' aired on the 15th.

Jin Se-yeon appeared as a guest on the show and piqued curiosity by disclosing that one of the 'My Ugly Duckling' sons was her first kiss partner. Host Shin Dong-yup showed interest, asking, "Was it your real first kiss, not just for a role?"

Jin Se-yeon confessed, "My first kiss was with Choi Jin-hyuk oppa." She continued, "We filmed it when I was transitioning from 19 to 20 years old. At 19, the script described it as 'just a peck,' but after the new year, the kiss scene was noted as 'stronger than before.' It felt like a release since I turned 20," she laughed. She added, "It was actually difficult. I wasn't dating anyone, so thankfully it was a daily drama, and the intensity wasn't high. It was sweet."

Shin Dong-yup teased, "Did you feel it was lacking?" to which Jin Se-yeon replied, "I tried my best," bringing laughter.

Jin Se-yeon also emphasized, "I want to strongly assert that I'm not a lifelong single." She explained, "In my early to mid-20s, I mentioned in an interview that I had no dating experience, which led to rumors of me being a lifelong single. Even after revealing I dated, no articles came out," she expressed her frustration. Shin Dong-yup humorously suggested, "If that's your concern, you should hold hands with Jang-hoon oppa and say, 'I have feelings for him. I like Jang-hoon oppa. It's not because of money,'" causing laughter.

Jin Se-yeon also shared her connection with another 'My Ugly Duckling' son, Kim Seung-soo. She revealed, "I'm currently filming a weekend drama with Kim Seung-soo. He plays my father. He's a young dad who had a daughter early," eliciting laughter.
