Jin Se-yeon Reveals Her First Kiss Partner on 'My Ugly Duckling'

Actress Jin Se-yeon revealed that her first on-screen kiss was with actor Choi Jin-hyuk on the SBS variety show 'My Ugly Duckling' aired on the 15th.

Jin Se-yeon appeared as a special MC on the show and shared insights into her personality. When asked if she is naturally cute, she responded, "I'm not overtly cute, but my tone changes in front of people I like." She then charmed the audience with a heart gesture, prompting Seo Jang-hoon to comment, "Your voice naturally has a cute tone."

Jin Se-yeon praised Seo Jang-hoon for his kindness, recalling their time on 'Knowing Bros.' She said, "We held hands as part of the storyline, and even after the scene ended, he continued to hold my hand and said, 'You did well today.' He's such a kind person." Shin Dong-yup humorously questioned why Seo held her hand for so long, to which Seo replied it was a final gesture of farewell.

Shin Dong-yup teased the audience by revealing that Jin Se-yeon's first kiss partner was among 'My Ugly Duckling' sons Kim Hee-chul, Heo Kyung-hwan, Choi Jin-hyuk, and Yoon Min-soo.

Jin Se-yeon confirmed, "Choi Jin-hyuk was my first kiss partner." She explained, "We filmed from when I was 19 to 20. At 19, the script described it as 'just a peck,' but the next year it said 'stronger than before,' as if unlocking a new level." She laughed, adding, "It was challenging since I wasn't dating anyone, but it was a daily drama, so it wasn't too intense. I just did my best to make it sweet." Shin Dong-yup jokingly asked if she felt it was lacking.

Jin Se-yeon expressed her desire to clarify that she is not a lifelong single, saying, "In my early 20s, I said in an interview that I had no dating experience, which led to rumors. Even when I later revealed I had dated, it didn't make the news."

Shin Dong-yup humorously suggested, "If that's your concern, you should say, 'I have feelings for Jang-hoon oppa after holding hands. I like him, and it's not because of money.'"

Jin Se-yeon, who filmed a kiss scene with Choi Jin-hyuk, is currently working on a weekend drama with Kim Seung-soo, who plays her young father, causing laughter from Shin Dong-yup and Seo Jang-hoon.
